Flying pets vs land mobs.

I heard somewhere that level 2 scorpion has highest land damage of all land pets. Instead of using the scorp? Cant i just use a petite sawfly but on land if i want DPS. Or do flying pets do low damage on land mobs?

    I don't remember much about the air pet penalty against land mobs, but just so you know, air pets have an irritating bug where they stuck flying against steep hills or slopes.

    I believe I stated that in a recent post. Yes you can use a sawfly outside. I was referring specifically to the need for an indoor dps pet. You won't always need to tank, and generally the golem will have tanking skills instead of dps skills. The scorp isn't a whole lot better, but it IS better, and you can give it more dps oriented skills like Flesh Ream and Shriek(Mdef debuff). If you wanted to make a really hot dps pet you could give it Claw, assuming you can find and afford it.

    i think lvl 60 Kowlin will deal a lot of dmg too (land pet)
