did the Bookseller scam me?

im lvl 36 and I was going around looking for quests because the "find quest" button had no more for me to and i saw the bookseller had a quest for me so i got it and it said i lost my blacksmithing book... well im lvl 2 blacksmith so i thought it did something good considering im it cost 20k and the description says take it to any elder to learn new skills, so i bought it for 20k coins and well... i think its useless now. i went to the elder and there was still nothing i could do with it, 20k is a good amount of coins for a book that does nothing, please tell me there is something i can do.

PS: i didnt know where to post this so i just came here.

    Lol.... Dude, you only buy books from the bookseller if you lost the book to go to the elder to get your next level of blacksmithing or the other crafting thingies =O... foo!!! b:chuckle

    lol they were being sarcastic.

    The books are only there if you were still lvl 1 crafting skills and you lost it and instead of having to complete quests again you can go to Book Seller and buy the book so you can turn in to learn your crafting.
