Mats' Prices

Did anyone bother to buy these mats (purified oil, rough fur, silk thread, concentrated glue...) from the catshops? They sell for 3.2k-4k and that price is just ridiculous compare to buying mats from the cash shop. I mean the cash shop sell these for 1 gold per 40 pieces. Prices for gold per piece right now is around 120k in the auction house. If you do the math...which is only 3k per piece on the cash shop. I see people trying to sell these mats as high as 4.5k so who the hell would buy these? (given that the buyers do some math first before buying these). I know the price for gold is also inflated thank to the cash shop bug but it still way better than the price for mats.

I also tried to buy via using my catshop (2.5-3k per piece) but I rarely buy any even if I leave it up for 3+ hrs.

where are you setting your cat shop up at? I set mine up while I sleep overnight and usually am able to buy all three of those for under 2k each. But yeah, they are a rip off, some people have found a few items which are hard to come by in game and are needed for the higher level players to level their blacksmithing and tailoring to level 4. That makes them a hot item.

And dont get me wrong, I am not able to buy them in huge quantities but I am usually able to get between 5-10 a night.

I usually set mine up at blacksmith by archosaur or in allies camp.

Well, if gold were 120,000(a little bit ago i looked and it was 130,000) that would be 120,000 plus the 6 percent fee, 7200.

    127,200 / 40 = 3180 per item. Not that far off.

If i setup a cat shop, nowadays i just sell for 2x the vendor price. But lately i find i can make just as much selling to catshops while awaiting crazy stones 10 minute timer.

Plus if you're higher level, there's less chance for a drop.

Well...lately I usually buy gold at 120k from multiple peoples in my friend list. I told them that I need mats and asked them to buy the mats from cash shop for me and i'll pay them 120k per 1 gold they spent. It's faster than just going around in west archosaur (lag fest) and trying to find a good deal. I always set up shop to buy at night...but for some reason...no one selling it to me...or very few (each night if i'm lucky..i might get 5-6 concentrated glue). Furthermore, this lvl 4 crafting quest is annoying...I got bunch of 1 star and 3 stars but no 2 stars. I think it's time to give up and just buy it from other ppl (at 200k-400k per weapon is the price last time I checked).

hmm...I don't think lvl of crafting affect the chance of making 1,2,3 stars is it? If it is...I should try to ask someone to make it for me.

yeah, its shouldnt make any difference but ever since I started the lvl4 quests I have not made a single 2 star item.....I am sure it is just coincedence...or is it?

Maybe is it the PWI paying me back for all the horses and dogs I have killed along the wayb:cry

People do buy at those prices, likely for two main reasons. 1. Ease. It's easier to buy 5 oils from a cat shop, rather than buying some gold from the AH, buying 20 of them, and then trying to sell off the excess.
    2. They don't know you can buy them from the cash shop.
