Leveling items

Im new to this game. In all the other mmo's I've played you can level your stuff but it seems like in pw you can only refine it with mirage stones. Is there a way to increase the level of your stuff or do you have to get new stuff everytime?

    New stuff everytime.

    Mirage stones (refining) will make a weapon better, but gets costly very quickly.

    Soulstones if your weapon has sockets, but again, gets costly.

    Until you are over level 60 (everyone has an opinion, some say dont refine until 90+, 60 is just mine) you will probably want to hold off on any mods and just replace your weap.

    Refining, in my opinion is useless untill you get to a higher lvl. when your lower lvl, you advance fast enough to outgrow your armor relativly quickly, so its pointless to refine, but once you start getting your lvl 60, 70 etc. gear, it can be of benifit, if you can afford it. weapons are the most worthwhile to refine, for instance, your lvl 60 tt weapon will be with you for 10 looong lvls, so it helps to +1, or +2 it. But remember, mirage celestones are not hard to get, but there is a high fail rate without dragon orbs, which are $$$
