What should I do when, as I attempt to transfer items from one character to another by dropping them in a remote area, and login once again as the character receiving all the items, someone swoops in a steals my items? I know there is certain risk when choosing this method, but I didn't really have another choice at the time. These items were important and somewhat challenging to acquire.. well not challenging as much as timeconsuming..

Name of character transferring items: Kirusuke
Name of character receiving items: Anshentto
Name of character who stole items: Amalaswintha

She stole 5 items, but the only one I can remember is 50 Life Powder, although I know there were Celestones of Heaven/Earth, but I don't know the quantity.

Your remote area must not have been remote enough.

I'm sorry for your loss, but that's the gamble you took when using that method. The mail system is in place for a reason. 500g per package sounds like a lot I guess, but as you are now well aware the alternative can be even more costly.

Next time you want to transfer items, mail them from one character to another. Small cost for each mail, but at least you won't have to worry about anything being stolen.

*sigh* Well after it happened I sold some items to use the mail.. didn't have enough money. Well thanks for confirming that nothing can be done.

Im not even sure you can call it stealing. You laid the items on the ground therefor making them free game for anyone who came along. Alot of times people in Arch and outside of Arch will drop items to make room in thier inventory. is that stealing if someone picks them up?

Yes! It's common sense if someone has laid multiple items on the floor that he/she is either rearranging their inventory or are transferring items. It's common courtesy to leave those items be until the person has walked away rather than take them for one's own greedy needs. Plus, the items I was transferring were items no one in the game would simply drop and leave for people to pick up..

Sorry, that was your own fault and PWE can not be held responsible for the lost items. The other player wasn't stealing, he found the items and had every right to claim them.

Not really, if you drop something and don't pick it up during the period of time where only you can pick it up, then anyone can take it. It's like leaving your wallet on the ground for a while and hoping no one will take it. It's really your own fault. At least the stuff you dropped weren't too expensive, it could be plenty worse.
I figured I should do something with my sig, so I made this for fun. My very first (poorly made) animation. b:victory

As for why Luffy is murdering Naruto, I have no idea either, but it looks cool.b:laugh

By logging off you basically walked away making the items fair game in the eyes of the person who picked them up. So, by your own statement, they had a right to the items since your character, technically, walked away.

Sucks, I know, but there was always the option of mailing them.
