REMINDER: March Calendar Creation Contest, Deadline = March 2nd!

Just a friendly reminder that Round #2 of PWI's Calendar Creation Contest is now underway for the month of March. For detailed info please see the official events page at:

There you will find all rules and design guidelines along with March's Calendar Creation Kit.

Deadlines for submission is Monday, March 2nd by 11 a.m. PST. This time around we will be awarding the Top 5 designers with Dragon Orb Packs. Simply put - these packs, valued at $30 each, is a fantastic way to transform a 'decent' piece of gear into something EPIC! Show the PWI Community your creative skill all while making a handy-dandy calendar that will never let you forget how many Saturdays are in March 2009. Go get it done!

    u.u I didn't do it to win. Gods. I'm happy with my Black Raptor, yes. Didn't even thought I had a chance. Besides. This is my style. How I do it. I've spend years on GFX Forums and trust me, I'm an average artist compared to some.

    I know there's a 95% chance I won't even win because I already won last month (which I'm very grateful for ._.), but I submitted to try and make people, I don't know, work? Try? And the fact that it's my HOBBY...

    I'm seriously not trying to bash your hopes of winning. I'm sure with enough imagination, you can come up with something similar. Hell, if you want tips and links to tutorials, you can just add me on msn: proudfoolsince1989@hotmail.com.

    Personally I like Semyezza's style. There's a lot of clever and witty detail that's not necessarily apparent at first glance, not to mention that it looks cool. Also, in reference to it being 'basically the same thing,' out of the hundreds of submissions that we've received her style is completely unique. Have yet to see anyone submit anything similar in nature (faux-collage).

    ouch.... And I spent hours to creat own 3D objects and render them to do something different.... Sounds like I'm out again if this is the style you search for... *sighs* But hey, I keep on trying... yet.

    i'm not saying that this is a style necessary to be under consideration for winning. I was merely pointing out that her style is very unique after another user critiqued it as being more of the same.

    If you're working on 3d renders as your style of design by all means please submit them. I'm only 1 of a dozen judges and the each judge in the group has vastly different tastes from one another. there's a good variety of styles so far this month and that pleases me the most!

    I want to enter my submissions for my new character on the new coming servers ... so are the servers coming up before the deadline of this event is reached ?

    If you dont want to present yet, or if you dont know the date of the release yet, just answer with "yes" or "no" ...

    What if I havent created a character yet and still want to do the Calendar event to win? I'm fairly new and heard there was a new server so I'm waiting on that one.
    Bringing fear and widespread random deaths into the Harshlands, that is my goal..

    submissions for the March calendar design contest is now over. Winners will be announced either tomorrow (Tuesday) or Wednesday of this week.

    We will also be announcing details later this week about Round #3 of our Calendar Design Contest for April.

    I rolled Tinypic for a few months, to upload graphics for forums. Suddenly, all the pics are of.. some random people I don't know.
