worth it or not?

is levelling up and acquiring the skills under the fox form tree worth it? or is it just a waste of spirit and coins?

PS. i prefer being a mage veno seeing that my pet tanks for me.

    If you're gonna stay in human form the entire time.. then.. not really.

    The only ones I'd suggest investing in are amplify damage (your party will love you for it) and the buff removal (great for PvP).
    Everyone here is ridiculously oversensitive.

    I suggest you first focus on the skill corresponding to your build. It's a waste to put SP and coins in skills you're never gonna use. Amplify damage and the buff removal can indeed be usefull, but I doubt you're ever gonna change humanoide-fox all the time. Only invest in it if you can directly bring it to lvl3/4. If it's affect isn't longer than 10 seconds, it won't be worth changing to fox. Just my opinion though.

    I would HIGHLY recommend that you lvl up purge and amplify fox skills. These are good for pvp, and even if you dont pvp, at higher levels when you do TT runs some groups wont let you in unless you have that lvld as high as you can. Amp is very useful for bosses and cuts killing time down dramatically

    don't be selfish, u've just mentioned about amp dmg and debuff,
    now it's time to help your guild(tw) or your fb party, learn the Chi exchanger skill too, it's very useful when being in a party with barbs or archers

    You probably need about 10 or more people dps'ing a mob to make it worth it. Of coure if you have some very high dps people in your group and you are low level, it may be worth it for a fb.

    What it matters whether you kill a boss in 2 mins or 1 min 50 seconds is questionable though.

    TW could certainly benefit from it though.

    In fbs or TT I find amp damage to be most useful as my pet is often the tank and I may not have much time to DD anyway as I spam heal. I can often get enough time to get in an amp from time to time.

    Purge is a MUST in higher TT runs like 2-2 squad. Plus it sure as heck helps in pvp.

    if you use mob debuffs like purge while in fox form and then change back to human form, will the debuff still be there or will it stop?

    i didn't say amp is useful in FB, i was talking about chi exchanger, thought amp is useful, especially if u're a heavy veno

    As for the original question: if you have spare spirit and coin and you've already trained the left side of the tree up, then yeah, go ahead and get Amplify and Purge.

    It's less time for the boss to beat on the tank.
