New to this game,a nd overall, I love my barbarian; Barbarian's lots of fun, and I like being a big beefy tiger, therefore, I also ignore my humanoid skills, and go for the bare minimum stats for my axes/hammers, and put the rest in VIT.

I've started to run into a problem though. I miss CONSTANTLY.

Like I have a 1/3 chance of missing, and it's an absolute pain in the [butt] to kill things alone. It's really started to get bad, so my question is this: is there an easier build or strategy to leveling up without sacrificing my effectiveness as a kitty meat shield in the long run?

The plus side is that Barb is the only class that can afford to miss that often. Try using gems on socets to increase accuracy, lots of these can usually be found in the auction house. This is my first time around as a Barb hope this helps.

tis the life of a lower level barb. you are never gonna be super accurate, it is just the way it is. My 2X's barb misses lots. I run soley in tiger form and just spam flesh ream as much as possible....you can sacrifice some of your vit for dex if you really wanted to...or add accuracy stones to your weapon...if you really wanted to, but at your level, i would say grin and bare it...it will get better with time. dont waste too much vit on dex right now, and don't waste coin on stones right now. And if you get tired of missing all the time, take a break, play an archer or a blademaster....its what I do..

barbs miss a lot period. don't get discouraged. barbs are like that girl in highschool.
you know the one kinda too tall lanky big glasses. too skiny. just kinda akward. then highschool ends. she grows up.
you see her latter on in life.
now she is 5'9" developed **** learned how to do her make up and has acheived the status of hotty. and you are thankful you treated her good right? of course you are.

any way to the exact point barbs bloom way late in game. especially if you are a tank build like me. you will miss ALOT earlier on and in pvp alway a bit more. but around lvl 5x the misses on pve all but dissapear. when you get your lion claw axes from kisma your damage really goes up. with the TT axes WAY up. now you are doing bm lvl damage. and you have the high hp to boot. your stat build is a perfect one don't sway from it. and check my bragging spot you basically have my build

Well the BloodBath skill u get at lvl 29 gives u an acc. increase at the cost of lowering ur HP a bit. But since we have high hp already it okay and Blood Bath just give u more acc. at its higher lvls too.

Hazardus - Heavens Tear

Yep bloodbath is nice. But it increases your base accuracy. Equips with +accuracy might be a better option at lower levels.

i may be anoob but i know already that missing as a barb is enevitable (sp?) but the best thing about the barb is that if you are being pwned you can just lay off of the mobs and meditate if you max out your regenaeration skill you should heal rather quickly. but getting back on topic i choose weps that give me like +20 to accuracy and if i am lucky ones with sockets. even if they are a grade lower it still could make up for it in the fact that you can actually HIT the target and not just miss every time...

I picked up a level 28(?) p.atk ring with +10% accuracy (+10%, not +10). First of its kind I've seen across 4 characters that have reached level 30+. Are these rare or worth much?

No its not that rare. I wouldn't use it either. AT my level I have some 40 odd dex, which translates as 300ish accuracy. +10% of 300 = +30. Most other items with a +acc stat can give me a better accuracy bonus.

Well, if you plan to PVP max blood bath.
Save Beastial Onslaught till you got points to spare.
