How can i get a pet?

i'm a lvl 16 archer and i know that it won't fight with me, but i wish to have a pet..
how can i get one?

    You can buy one from other players or the Auction House :).

    only venos can get eggs by taming mobs

    Venomancers tame mobs and get eggs. They can either sell you these 'Venomancer only' eggs so that you can convert them to an all class pet or you can buy the ready made pet from anyone.

    just know that the pets are fairly expensive for an item that only annoys enemies trying to click you from behind. Unless you are a veno, the pets sit there and do absolutely nothing, no attacking, no tanking etc. Just for decoration.
