Valentines Event "squading" Problem

First off, I'm male. I picked the roses and bound them with the ribbon to make the Elegant bouquet. My female friend had the chocolate. We then tried to squad together. She had no problem but I had an error appear and it disabled access to anything on my screen until I clicked the message. The error message kept stacking (fast) if I didn't clear it. I only got this error if she was squad leader but she needs to be for the quest.

We were able to get the quest finished but I had to stand frozen while she claimed the quest, then I had a huge pile of error messages to clear.
