    The girl just stood in silence, not answering me back, piercing me with her eyes, almost as if she was trying to look deep within my soul - if I had one that is.

    Waiting, with still no reply, I decide finally to head up the lighter path. Better to see at least something, instead of stumbling and risking a fall, with no idea what could be upon me the second I would lose balance...

    The stone circle has me puzzled on my arrival, and again I hesitate, turning to see whether the girl has followed me, but at the moment I can not sight her. I watch a shadow moving, or maybe just an illusion? I am not sure whether I can trust my overheightened senses anymore. Fear and confusion can be bad advisors at the best of times, and this is definitely not a good time at all.

    I clear my throat, although shocked by the eeriness of my own cough echoing through this forsaken night. But still better than the silence, and listening to my voice as if it was that of a stranger, I ask:

    "Why is this happening? What part am I playing in all of this, or am I just here by poor accident?"

    Noticing the shadowed figure between the circle I look up to see if the moon is visible from between the clouds. Knowing that the moon is waning from being full, you think its rather ominous that the gathering is almost praying to the phase of when the new moon will come. As I edge closer, I wonder if it is a coincidence that the chants almost seem to lessen when the moon shines brighter between the clouds. Are they celebrating the approaching darkness? Or celebrating the other darkness, the shadow that lurks between them...

    You decide to get closer to the dark, shadowy figure in the middle of the stone people sliding across the mud and grass, some of them pushing you as you go.

    You hear the little girl outside of the circle telling you "blended fate, stones and shadows". She's giggling and laughing again. You wish you knew what she found so funny.

    The stone silhouetted people stop sliding around and morph arms that reach out toward you, lifting you up and taking you to the shadow...

    The blank faces of the stone people are groaning and chanting, like they are sacrificing you.

    The little girl is laughing and you can hear her underneath you.

    You are now in the air held up high by hundreds of stone hands and arms, as they are getting ready to drop you into what seems like a bottomless pit.

    A deep, demonic voice emanates from the pit that says "welcome back, we knew you'd visit us again".

    The stone creatures throw you into the pit. As you are falling, you are flailing around trying to grab something to hold onto to slow your descent. The fall is fast, and your pajamas don't feel so wet anymore.

    Dark green clawed hands start reaching out from the dark walls as you hear thousands of voices chanting "just a little time, is all we ask", sounding almost hypnotic to you. They start tearing and ripping your pajamas here and there as you are trying to fight them off while falling at an increasing rate.

    A small light is visible, maybe the end of the pit? What will you land on? Surely you aren't going to survive this.

    As you are getting closer in your fall to what lies below, you see what seems like a giant cauldron, filled with other tortured souls all writhing in the pot, looking up at you like they are hungry zombies.

    It seems to be all over now you think, as you feel empty and defeated. You'll either die upon impact with the "stew", or the zombies will attack you.

    The cauldron approaches fast, and the impact is fierce. Screams and groans surround you in the darkness, you can't breath in the liquid, teeth and hands are tearing at you.


    Then you wake up, with a tree branch slapping against the house during the rainstorm outside.

    The story game is now yours, PWI community!
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    Wiping the drool off of your keyboard, you glare at the branch which had so rudely woken you up. Groggily hitting refresh, you see that your favorite MMORPG is still not online.

    A. Do you go back to sleep, hoping that something else exciting will happen in your dreams, or
    B. Continue hitting refresh. Maybe something will have changed in the last half a minute!

    Things are being worked on.

    Be patient, go read a book, do some homework, tend to your families, play with your kids, go grab some food, chat with friends online and party up to get ready to dive back into a world filled with pixels, phantasy, adventure, and PANDAS!!!

    Yea be like me, go play Diablo 2 lol, maybe old game with crappy graphics but dang it's still fun, and have classes similar to PW. Has barb, Necromancer (= to venomancer except it's a guy one) and some archer and mage and stoof. (Not trying to convert ppl to it, as i said it has crappy graphics and i'm just playing while i wait for PW to come back up) but it takes up time :)

    Yes, we have been patient. 6 hours and counting?

    But those were FRIENDS!!!

    Upon waking I break into tears. I had remembered... At the last second, but still, the memory upon waking was now strong, and the longing to return even stronger. Caught in a human body, doomed to work with the limited tool of a human brain, the understanding had taken its time. Instincts of the physical matter had blinded me with fear, and lead to interpretations which now left me behind with regret.

    Moaning in an agony nothing to do with the matter of the body, I turn to look at the window, but soon close my eyes, as what I can spot surrounding me is now what instead fills me with fear and a feeling of utter alienation.
    Home...
    For a short moment I had returned. The light to the dark. Once it had all been one, and the tortured had been the blessed all the same. What had happened? What had thrown me into this strange world, torn me from the embrace, seperated me from those who knew me?

    My room now changes into a cell, cold light filtering through the small square with the bars. I must have lost time somewhere again... Oh yes, I recall, between that 'dream' and now they had decided I was not 'sane'. My bad for telling them about it, I guess. And bad that I keep dreaming of that night, but I know it was real. I did walk out into the darkness, and it all happened, but they do not understand. Same as I did not understand at first. But now I do, and pulling a bit on my restraints, a smile tilts the corners of my mouth.

    They can not hold me forever. Their sanity is the true illusion, and I shall return and forget THIS world, in exchange for the other.....


    I shall just blame the game being down *nods nods* that's my excuse and works perfectly in MY head :P
