While on a quest, does being in a team allow you to share kills?

    If your near enough to your squad mate, yes. Well, you don't "share" you both get the kill.

    Does that also mean that both of you get the quest item if you're, say, working to get the blood off the Beetle King things?

    Yes, but keep in mind that you also share exp and coin. Exp is divided among the members using some percentage basis acording to level that I am not familiar with. Also, sqadding with members several levels higher than yourself will make it so that you get sucky drops. (sucky drops being nothing but coin.)

    If it is an un-common drop then I am sure you will get your drops seperately. i've squadded on an un-common drop quest before and the person I was with finish before me, though we did start at the same time.
