All class Pets?

I have heard about all class pets and I wonder how I could enquire one for my cleric.

1st: How do you catch/buy/quest(?) one?
2nd: Is there a list for all of them?
3rd: Can they actually fight or at least tank?
4th: Any lvl/skill/quest requirements?

    1 and 2: Go talk to Mrs Zoologist in Archosaur.
    3: No. They're just there to look nice.

    dog, cat, rabbit, huggy hare (really big rabbit), elysium fowl (bird), foxwing, antelope, butter-fly thing, frog, bear cub, those are the ones I remember offhand. . .

    You don't have to feed them but you need an open pet slot for each one. You prally have one pet slot now, unless you opened up another one with a quest.
