Rank 2 Equipment?

Maybe this is a beginner question and if so feel free to move it.

Can you get rank 2 equipment? I got rank 1 equpment when I was way to high a lvl for it to be worth anything. Even after I got it there was still a quest flag over the girl so I could buy more of the rank one equip. I finally got my rank 2 badge and thought that I would get rank 2 equip but nothing. There was still rank 1 equipment there. I thought that maybe I had to have it on or in my inventory so I bought the rank 1 stuff. I tried to put it on and have it sitting in my inventory but nothing. The only thing that happened was the flag went away over her head.

I am sure that there is someone who can answer this. If the answer is yes then can you fill me in on how? Thanks.

    I know the Rank 2 ring is at 1000 rep and level 40. I believe the next armor comes in with 2500 rep (rank 3) but is level 60 armor. I haven't looked much into it because i am way off in rep even though I could wear it.

    i think rank 2 was just the ring
    rank 3 was belt and ring maybe the shins too(or were they rank4?)
    rank 4 ring shirt (-3%channel for robes, - attack interval for LA, not sure about its bonus for heavy but not something really important since you wont have rank 4 till much later then lvl 60 in all likelyhood)
    later on its a ring everytime and then not sure

    You get a ring at every rank. At rank 2, you can buy a belt in Dreamweaver Port, but it has level requirement of 60. At rank 3 and 4, the same NPC will sell you additional pieces all of which (I think) have required level of 60.

    I believe there is stuff you can buy if you achieve the higher ranks as well, but it is from a different NPC.

    OK. I got the rank 2 ring a while ago. I will be lvl 60 by the end of the week probably. So where in dreamweaver port is this belt and what are the benifits?

    You can get the rank 2 ring at level 40 but you can't buy the belt until lvl 60. Rank 2 doesn't have a full set of armor like rank 1 does. After you have rank 2 and level 60 go to Dreamweaver (bottom right of map) and talk to the girl there for rank armor. She is the one you can buy the belt from. Be sure to bring your rank 2 ring with you in your inventory.
