mob lag?

I've noticed while grinding on lvl. 40 vampiric thresher lords that when I get their hp to 1/4 that they will sit and stare at me while I finish them off.

Am I lagging or are they failing to channel a spell at me or what? b:question

    If i remember rightly, they sit there or fall back and use an hp drain skill when their hp's low, like some wolves and other mobs do. That's probably what it is
