If you clicked this thread that means you really do want to help a noob or you just want to see a noob flail. b:sad

What class will cost the least money?

What class is in your opinion is the most fun to play? Why?

Does flying at lvl 1 really give you a big advantage?

Do I need a mouse for this (laptop ftw)?

Is it difficult to make money?

Answering atleast on of these questions would be very helpful. b:kissb:kiss

ehh.. i just clicked it cuz it was new

mm.. how much you spend really depends on you
    not the class.
on base costs weapons, armor, skills,
all classes are pretty much the same

mm.. most people prefer Venomancers because of the ability to tame and raise many kinds of pets

eh.. not really if you start off as winged elf
the only things wings really do for you is make it a little faster to travel
because you can just fly over tree's and mountains
    but really no..

a mouse would make things easier since click and holding the right mouse button is how you change the camera angle plus targeting and such
won't say you NEED a mouse but yeah it'd be alot better

no making money is pretty easy
what's difficult is holding on to your money

you'll find out pretty soon that once you start getting to higher levels
you tend to need to spend more and more money

    1. venomancer would be the cheapest class imo
    2. I like wizards... because they are one of the hardest to use
    3. flying isn't a great advantage... and getting to lvl 30 is cake so that very slight advantage really doesn't last for more than a few days =\
    4. a mouse would be hugely beneficial... if you plan to do any pvp... you'll definetly want one
    5. money making gets easier as you level up. In the start of the game... things seem really expensive... but as you level up it gets easier and easier, just make sure to sell your DQ items :D

I don't know the cheapest class to play, but I do think that archer is one of the more expensive classes to play. On my archer, I found myself with a bit less coin than usual due to buying arrows and pots.

It's not a great advantage to fly. It was handy at times to travel and avoid mobs. But it doesn't take too long to reach lvl 30 and get your aerogear.

Playing with a touchpad or pointer nub is possible. I've done it on occasion. But it's quite annoying and definitely inconvienent.

Venos are the real money makes here. They can sell pets, don't need too many pots, and carry their own personal tanks so almost never get hit.

All classes are fun in their own way. I liked being a "never say die" tank, so I went with the barbarian.
Wizzies are the uber damage dealers but die easy.
Archers trade off, a little less damage for more survivability.
BMs imho are jacks of all trades (and so are forced to be masters of none). They can deal damage and tank, just not a good as a Wiz,Arch or Barb.
Clerics have decent damage skills, and are the only true healing class, making them invaluable.

Everyone flies at lvl30. Took me over a week to get to lvl30. Never missed flying much till 30 though.

Mouse would make gameplay a lot easier, I recommend you get one.

Money making is very easy here. At the beginning you make more than you need. Later on, you make a lot more money, but your costs radically go up too, so at higher levels moneys a problem (particularly for a barb that will need to spend 50K+ at a time on repairs b:chuckle).
When the going gets tough; Get a tank!

    1. The money you spend depends on your playing style (meditating or pot user). However, I think a barb is one of the more expensive classes, because being hit is your job in a party, and you can't kill without getting hit a lot. Veno's are the best moneymaking class, but even then you'll need spent time on it. Yes, all-class and rare pets are sold for some good money, but the veno needs to tame them before they can sell them.
    2. As you can see, I like to play my barb. It's a great class: you can solo pretty well, and you have no trouble finding someone to quest with since you can work efficiently with allmost any class (veno is the only exception). However, if damage or ranged attacks is what you're looking for, don't choose it. Hazardus did a good description, so just look what corresponds you best.
    3. I don't play any any elves, but I can tell you that untill lvl30 my speed in tigermode was more then enough. If you really like speed, you should get a mount or a good fly.
    4. It isn't necessary, but I can't play without it.
    5. There are various ways to make money. Is it easy? Yes. However, you'll spend some time grinding or harvesting materials to get money. Just a tip: Don't let anything on the ground. Pick up all drops from lvl1 on. Another tip: don't just teleport without thinking. Now they have auto-pathing, teleportation isn't really usefull for anything else then saving some time.

I see, thanks for the help guys. I think I'll go with the veno since it makes the most money and after I have some money I'll probably make a barb.
