"Take of your equipment" for arrows?

My friend has an archer and since the very beginning (as in immediately upon logging in at level 1) she's been getting the message to take care of her equipment with a picture of the arrows. When she tries to repair there's no equipment that needs repairing. It doesn't change whether she buys, makes, or picks up arrows, the message is almost always there. Once in a while it disappears after she puts more arrows in, but only for a fight or two.

I have an archer and have never had this issue. My thought is maybe she doesn't have enough arrows in her ammo slot at one time, but I don't know if there's any validity to that. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so how did you fix it? Do the possibly-damaged arrows do less damage than regular ones would? Should she just ignore the picture as a glitch because it means nothing?

    If you have less than 500ammo equipped it shows you that message.

    Thanks for answering. That explains why my archer never has the message (she's always got as many arrows as I have equipped) and my friend has confirmed she never has that many. Don't ask me why she doesn't, I like to keep my quiver full and not doing so doesn't make sense to me. The mystery is solved to our satisfaction. b:pleased
