Well I have looked over the forum and cant seem to find an answer.

Can anyone explain how the mirage stones work. I know you add them to a weapon or armour to improve stats but does this then add stars to the weapon?

Or is it not possible to add stars on a weapon or armour?

Also if anyone has any experience with the no fail cash shop items can they explain how the gradings work. I mean if I add a mirage stone do I then need to buy the higher level no fail stone to guarentee success?

If these questions have been answered before in a guide please post a link as I was unable to find any with the search function.

Thanks.

Val.

It's not possible to add stars to items. If you use a Mirage and it succeeds, the name will becoming <name> +1. Then +2 etc.

    Ok heres how it works:
First off no matter how high ure going you will need 2 mirage stone per refine level.
Second to get +1 you wil need a 1* orb and 2 mirage. +2 needs a 2* orb and so on.
Trying to get past +2 without the orbs is near impossible when u get to +4 and above it will start to get costly but it worth it. I have a +6 WoF.

For every beginning there must be an end.

    Question:
    How beneficial is refining actually?
I rifined my HH60 weapon to +3, but my damage didn't increase very much. Does anyone know why this is? +3 is supposed to multiply my physical attack by 3.05x is it not? On my weapon, all I saw change was the max physical attack from 1070 to ~1124. I thought this so called multiplier would triple my damage, but it hasn't. Anyone know why?

Its not supposed to triple your damage....that would be insane damage output. With each + level you get it increases your dmg output max AND min slightly.

Lower level refining is not a huge difference, but as it gets higher the bonuses get better and better.

For example, this is the list for refining TT60 axes(happened to be on my screen already)

    1: +16

    2: +32

    3: +48

    4: +68

    5: +91

    6: +120

    7: +159

    8: +208

    9: +272

    10: +356

    11: +464

    12: +600
