Char already logged in

I was playing on Santuary and was disconnected at 9pm gm+10..when trying to relog, it keeps telling me character already logged in.

I had a friend see if my char was still in the game..She is at the blacksmith in the wall of stronghold at 9:15pm

I have quit the game back to the desktop..what else can i do so i can relog?
