Auto pet feeder from Boutique

I was wondering about the tome you can get to feed pets, it says it last 7 days, so does that mean in a week it will be gone or does it only use it up when u log on or just when your pet is out?

Please help!

    Currently, the +1% critical Christmas Blessings will also keep your pet fed. It is unclear if this is intentional or a bug, so buy it at your own risk. If it is intentional, then you'll never have to buy food or a pet tome again (except to build loyalty after a pet death).

    GM's have been mum on the question, but unless you have something else to put in that slot, it's worth it if you find one for sale. I've bought 2 (1 for each veno), and it's paid for itself simply for removing the hassle of feeding my pets and 1% crit on top of that.
