Patch TT3-1?

I would like to point out that a patch for TT3-x mode seems to have been added.
You now must kill every single mob before a boss or he does this insane weird move depending on the mode (single/squad)
single he does a 1 hit move (50k)
squad he does a aoe that reduces current hp by 50%

He casts it every 5 or so seconds

If you do kill all the mobs then he is his usual self.

when you dont kill all the mobs he will say 'Ignorable one, do you want to breakthough my guards and kill me!! you will pay for this!'

gms would be so kind as to confirm why? i heard/read it was an anti **** feature of some sort added from another version.
