    My fave song is the one from FF VIII I think. I think is called Luthec Fothosec Vinothec...ah I cant spell it.^^ FF X Skies above is really good too, but I prefere the one from FF VII more.

    And yeah, whats that "pew pew" think about?

    the black mages and the game version are the same thing, i think they just play around with the sound effects a bit, but its still produced by the black mages.

    The main part of the song is the same yes, but the game version doesn't have the intro/bridge that the BM version does.

    Both are very sweet in any case.

    You're not alone-FF9 (the remix is especially good)

    Clash on the big bridge-FF5 (Gilgamesh battle theme)

    Man with the machine gun-FF8 (Laguna battle theme)

    It's tough to narrow it down since this series has so many great songs.

    Decisive Battle from FF VI has always been my favorite as noted above but there are SO many other good ones it's hard to decide sometimes.

    this is gonna sound weird but my fave music in FF games are the little soothing ditties that play when you fall asleep at an Inn.

    oh yeah, i also like just about every melody i've heard on a FF title screen.

    uh, a hard thing to chose between all those great songs...but...

    "Dancing mad"(Kefka's Theme) from FFVI
    Balamb garden theme from FFVII
    "Vamo alla flamenco" from FFIX and the special encounter melody from FFIX too...
    And the corky "One winged angel" from FFVII cuz i get the goosebumps when I hear it..

    the Black Mages have a version merged with "Melodies of life" I think...

    Hrm.... pretty hard to do for the whole series at once.

    FF1 - Prelude (the one that started it all!)
    FF4 - Theme of Love/Rosa's Theme
    FF5 - Ahead On Our Way
    FF6 - Ugh, so many choices. Possibly Gau's theme (because I love cello). Aria De Mezzo Carattere and Terra's Theme are both great as well.
    FF7 - Once again, a ton of favorites. Aerith's Theme will probably stick as the most memorable. Tifa's Theme, One Winged Angel, and the Main Theme would be runner ups.
    FF8 - Love Grows
    FF9 - Melodies of Life
    FF10 - To Zanarkand (yeah, obvious, I know.)
    FF Tactics - Ovelia's Theme.
