Green Skill???

When I went to add skill points after I leveled I noticed that on of my attrubutes Magic was at 6 instead of 5 and I did not put any points into it. Also it was green why did it go up and why is it green???

    When it shows as green, it means that there is a piece of equipment that is boosting it.
