How exactly does upgrading a purchased aerobeast work? How many times can it be ugraded?

    All aerogear (including aerobeasts) can be upgraded by using wind widgets at the Aerogear Forge in Thousand Streams. Each widget costs approximately 10k and the amount needed varies depending on the initial speed.

    Here's what you need in order to upgrade:

    +1.0 -> +1.5 = 20 widgets
    +1.5 -> +2.0 = 60 widgets
    +2.0 -> +2.5 = 80 widgets
    +2.5 -> +3.0 = 80 widgets
    +1.0 -> +3.0 = 240 widgets total

    Does that mean I could buy +1 Aerogear and 240 wind widgets so it costs me 26.6 gold to get it to max speed, instead of buying +2.5 Aerogear and 80 wind widgets which costs 37.2 gold?

    Just bumping this thread to ask the same questions as poster above me asked.

    Also want to confirm that if i buy the 30G mount (+2.5 speed) I am only able to upgrade it once for 80 widgets to +3.0 speed?

    yes, max speed for a areo gear is +3.0 normal +5.0 hasted (acel)
