Sanctuary~Looking for White Crystal Love

Hi all,


I'm not exactly sure if this is the best place for it but I'll start here. As the thread title and my avi shows I'm on Sanctuary. Now, there are two alternatives I'm looking into.

1) A white crystal love dress

or

2) A crystal love dress and white dyes.

Please note, this thread is mainly to look into pricing and availability. I'm not sure if I'm ready to purchase it just yet.

    Bump~

    Slight update-

    I've got the crystal love dress now, can anyone give me a figure how much a white dye costs?

    It costs anywhere from 390-450k on Lost City (if you're buying, if you buy in bulk, maybe a little less). I've seen -some- prices inflated for PVE servers, but that doesn't mean they all are *shrugs* 400k is a good estimate. Demand and all.

    Ever consider trying cream dye instead? Looks just different enough from white to be unique, and costs a hell of a lot less. I dyed my chipao cream and wouldn't trade it for the world. Just a thought.

    Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it. The costs on white is rather...prohibitive.

    IMO it's easier to make cream look good on your char... it looks softer against the skin, more elegant. And then it's easier to pair with smokey black shoes that aren't actually black and are also therefore cheaper ;)

    I'm sure you have, but on the off chance you haven't, take a look at the guide at the top of this board for all the colors. Cream is in there :)

    When I bought cream dyes I paid anywhere from 70k-150k a piece for them on LC. A lot more affordable than white (my original I-want-that color too!).

    Yeah I had checked out that guide before. I am rather frustrated at the cost of white dye but meh, so things go on MMO economies...rarer items cost way too darn much.

    For point of reference, here's Mira in her crystal love that I want to dye:

    Cream may well work for it, but I was really hoping for white because it might be a guild thing xD.

    wow that color looks hot. why do you want to change it? but i am bias. i like purple b:chuckle

    in santuary.. for some reason... white and red dye are a HOT seller. i am guessing cause its close to v-day. whatever....

    anyway. I've seen white right now going for 400k. 350k the cheapest on sanctuary.

    not to mention... i think you need like 9 dyes or so for that dress. I think.

    i noticed PWI took out in the clothes how many dyes it takes to dye something. kind of strange.

    Heh thanks, the purple does look good on her but I still want to change it. It'd kinda be Mira's guild 'uniform' then ^^.

    Well I see what you mean about white. I think it'd go slightly better with your char's skin. But it's up to you really. Ask around to see if anyone has any cream fashion you can try on (guildmates), also try on white fashion and see which you like better. Perhaps that will help you decide.

    I'd agree with Marla, though. That's a gorgeous color of purple :) What about white shoes with the purple gown? Though you'll probably want to dye it, still, it's a thought. White dye in large quantities is prohibitively expensive until you start reaching higher levels where gold starts to flow in much easier.

    Unless I gather a bunch of random pigments which are a lot cheaper and try against lady luck ^^

    I'll have to check if any friends have cream/white colored fashion that they'll let me try on.
