Venomancer Per skills help, please?

I am level8.
I have a level 8 Wolf pet, the one you get from the lv 3 quest.
I have also done the quest where you capture the sacred beast.
i have the pet skill books dor the pet skill pet heal, pet revive, and tame in my inventory.
The thing is, i am unable to learn them.
i go to the pet skill trainer with my pet turned on and click learn pet skills, the chart is blank, i cant learn anything.
Also, i go to the venomance trainer, even she doesnt teach me anything. Is my character bugger, do i have to restart? or am i doing something wrong?
i asked myny people in my faction for help, they dont know whats wrong.
Advice would be apreciated.

    Click "Tame pet" instead, I know confussing but that is where you learn new skills for pets.

    Im talking about skills taught to your character like tame pet and stuff.

    To learn Pet healing, revive skill and tame skill use the tame option from pet trainer.

    To learn pet skill (as in bash, flash beam), buy skill books from Zologist(sp) at AR, book is blue in color and cost 200K.

    To rename you pet, use pet collar. You can buy it from same NPC in AR.

    To learn Veno skill, talk to Veno trainer (make sure you have enough SP and money.

    An NPC. Found in the SouthEast of Archosaur. (And another one underwater just north of there)

    They sell pet-skill scrolls.

    Yes, and the option to learn those skills is "Tame Pet". Stupid, but there it is.
    You learn (and level up) the 'tame pet' 'heal pet' and 'ressurect pet' skills through that option.

    It is possible that you haven't completed the "Gold" coloured quest which is the "Spiritual Cultivation" quest. (The Quest which requires you to go talk to the Taoist or something like that) Press Q to look at your quests and complete the one which is coloured gold/yellow.

    You can't advance your skills if you don't talk to him. I made that same mistake! ^_^
