Hi!
I just joined PW for a while and used to play wizard. And I have learned that a Wizard in PK must to be in light armor. Well if it is so, and is is so....then I guess this Perfect World isn't perfect at all.
I mean..in which game did you saw a mage to be more usefull in light armor instead of robes?
If you are thinking so...in Mage Academy they have only robes.
It is just annnoying that you at pure mage you have more than 100 points on magic than Light Armor and the damage has no change but only a tiny little bit.
What kind of game is this than?
Well I've heard people saying that at lvl 90 + the pure mage with robes are better, but then again some people sais that is not true.
Now...what I want to know..but for sure. That it is true that lvl 90+ mage is still weak and still must have Light Armor in PK or not?
But I want an awnser for someone who was a mage at lvl 90+ beacaus only they can tell the true opinion while they were there. I want to know for sure how is it and to be a fact and tested.
And if it must be still light armor...then I guess this game has done a joke with the mages...they even look strange in Light armor too...

No, whoever said that is an idiot.
LA wizard (mage is on wow, not here) can survive a lot longer, but doesnt mean he is stronger. A robe wizard has a higher damage potential.
Obviously, if you plan on pvp'ing, you better survive more than 1 hit or you wont have time to kill your target.

The main point is though, that given LA has higher pdef, they should suffer from lower matk and not by a small amount but by a significant difference. Were it not for charms they would also suffer from a lower mana pool.

I am beginning to see people talking about it and have seen 1 or 2 explanations but just how heavily does mag affect matk. It would seem to me that the mag stat plays the smallest part of the damage equation.

The biggest factors are actually the %weapon attack and +damage of the skills in addition to any Matk modifiers you can find e.g. Rings.

I know that the physyc defence in LA will be much more than robes. And the magical damage it is a little bit lower in light armor.
So I understand that the light armor has more survivability then robes.

But what I was meant and pains me the most, that the pure mage has over 100+ magic in his build and the Damage Dealing between the Light Armor and Pure mage is barely noticable. Many times it deals the same damage even at lvl 75-80 too...
And it's unfair that you have so much magic points and practicly looks like it's a waste....and you die more than twice as fast as a light armor bc u wanted to deal more damage..and in fact...you deal only a slim minimal damage..what I consider almost nothing at all.

Light armour is better? And you heard it over the internet, so it must be true.

If you feel that way, then make a light armour wiz. That's basically what this thread is? You announcing to the world that you're gonna use light armour?

If you want to use light armour, then do so and be shushful. I assure you, no one's gonna try to stop you.

I particularly admire the wittiness of this absolute doozy of a phrase. No one's ever heard that one before. You probably snorted with laughter when you wrote it.
    Everyone here is ridiculously oversensitive.
