Hi. I have a level 28 mage, and i've been levling up my Pythrogram,
Divine Pythrogram, Spring Gush and Rock fall for a long time now. There at level 6, 5...around that level. I've seen the guides and they all say to max out these skills, but i'm not sure, am i going to use these skills later on? Because its costing me more and more money and sp to keep on leveling up these skills. So is it worth it?
And i followed a light build, but i have around 400k right now, so is that enough funding to switch to a full magic build? Because my crit rate dosn't impress me, and my hp isn't that bad, but my mpl is horrible compared to a full mage build. And since most monsters at later levels are all magic ranged, won't i have few advantages as a light build mage?
Thanks for all your help ^_^b:pleased

I'd stop lvling Divine Pyrogram and concentrate on maxing out Pyrogram, Gush, and Stone Rain. It is also good to lvl your shields to help your defenses against magic attack mobs. I mainly concentrated on Stone Guard and Glacial Embrace. Stone Guard helps with phys attack mobs and earth defense, where Glacial Embrace increases your MP recovery rate and water defense. When you get Sand Storm, get it and start lvling it. It's faster than Divine Pyro and does more damage, plus it lowers the target's accuracy which is nice against the physical mobs.

I'd say at lvl 28, stick with the build you were going for (LA). If you want to do a pure build, get a restat.

As a pure wizard, I can say that Gush, Pyrogram, and Stone Rain are probably going to be your most used spells throughout your entire career as a wizard. The Gush/Pyro cycle is probably the most used combo by wizards simply because the speed of both allows for some very nice DPS (Damage per Second). Stone Rain is nice because it's a relatively fast spell that can do decent damage, though I don't use it as much as the other two( Pyro and Gush), Sand Storm, or Glacial Snare. It does get used often in boss battles though as a filler between nukes. lol

As far as which is best, LA or Pure, in a PvE server Pure works very well. On a PvP server, I've heard/read that LA is better. I can't give any real insight on that as I don't play on Lost City.
