first stuck, then players invisible

few mins ago i got stuck on lc in archosaur right next to the banker in the west district. teleporting wouldn't work, it didn't even let me activate the skill, changing the resolution to min didn't work either (thought i might be lagging but was not the case)
so i restarted the game. the stuck problem was solved but now i can only see the players when i am standing right next to them.
verifying the game files didn't work either, just got done doing so.
any idea what causes it?

i can see the player's catshops and pets fine from the distance, also the npcs. just not the players. neither in highest nor in lowest resolution, closest/furthest distance and so on and so on... tried out all possible settings. :S

[edit] problem solved. somehow in the UI section of the settings the distance was set really low :S
.: Being able to read and think at the same time is an advantage :.
