Friendship Crystal quest?

I tried doing this quest today and Failed.

I was wandering could anyone clearly outline the steps involved to finish this quest please?

I was in a party of 6 people and the quest still kept giving me the "friends are sleeping" step when everyone in the squad was added on everyones friend list.

This is what I believe is needed from reading the forums:

1. Two friends in a squad (added on list also)
2. They take the quest with another two friends
3. They get the friendship stone and trade it to you
4. They all get exp and you get a pendent

Does this mean that to start off you need 3 people with the crystal??

Would anyone clarify extra bits / missing parts I havn't stated please?

    No. I have never completely finished the quest because I disconnected while doing it. However I was able to start it. Here are the steps i took to get it going.
    1. Talk to the elder (with NO ONE in your squad)
    2. Find 2 friends that have NOT done the friendship quest that day.
    3. Get both friends to come to the elder.
    4. The elder will then give you instructions. I believe it is to have you go see someone. This is where I was unable to complete. You MUST stay close to your friends while doing this or you will fail.

    Im sure that there are people that could answer this better but I can at least tell you that you only need one crystal. and only 2 friends. :P Hope this helped some.

    what, has the friendship quest changed significantly since the thread was made? is any of the stuff in here really outdated? if so, okay, lock the thread. if not, at most we need a pointer to the wiki.
