I'm not saying that it should be fast to level up at the higher levels but it would be nice to have some quests to have some kind of point to killing things and having a little extra bonus exp from finishing a quest is always nice.

You can do hourly quests at 60+.
Kill 40+ monsters, based on lvl then talk to 2 npcs then you're done.
    Repeatable once an hr.

Are you talking about the Justice Quests? Yea I've done a couple of those but still not the same thing as getting a bit of a story behind it. Going and having to kill the same couple of things over and over again with those isn't my idea of much fun. But anyways, I know things won't change in the game so not going to make a big deal about it. Just giving my opinion about it. The game will go on. I know some people love grinding which boggles my mind lol but if that's what they like then cool. Hope everyone has fun in their own way in the game.

There was a point in the deep dark past, when roleplaying was meant to be entirely story-driven. I still yearn nostalgically for those days to return, but it seems unlikely to happen in an MMORPG - to keep the story fresh and interesting requires ongoing creativity, which it seems just can't be managed in an automated game engine.

This has been the basic difference between games that hold my interest, and ones with which i get bored: those with an interesting story that carries the player(s) from start to endgame, i play to completion. Those which require free grinding to get to the next plot point in the story begin to lose my interest; the more such grinding is required, the less likely i am to continue...

I play for the story much more than for the raw gameplay. As the story fades, or plot becomes sparse, my interest goes the same way. I loved classic games where the incidental encounters while traveling from one plot point to the next were adequate to prepare oneself for the next plot-driven mission (e.g. FF1-9, or even the ancient AD&D-based games from when SSI had the license from TSR)... i find little entertainment in wandering aimlessly just killing things (or players) that get in my way, while waiting to finally get another sliver of story; by the time i level up enough to see another story-driven quest, i've completely lost the plot and forgotten what was going on.
