TW Limit Update

Okay .. I have participated in only 1 TW.. but from reading the forums and seeing some of the complaints/issues.. I think there should be an increase in the amount of TWs a guild can participate in
In the real world, an army has to defend against as many attackers as its enemies can muster.. now i know PWI isn't the real world but I believe the same principle should apply
There is currently a 3 TW limit per time slot for any certain faction to defend their territories; however, with factions like Nefarious on Sanctuary and other factions I've heard spoken of on MY or other servers that own very large amounts of the map, this limit allows them to more easily hold their insane amounts of land
If the limit was increased to 5 or 6 even with a player cap at 200 it would become increasing difficult to hold the entire map. This way more factions have the chance to dethrone these really powerful guilds gaining coin and decent TW experience in the process instead of just getting destroyed over and over
Now i know as PWI grows and gains more people and more high levels 3 defenses might be too much if 3 guilds can field 80 people each to attack .. but at this point in time that isn't happening and I believe that one guild owning a majority of the territory is a bad thing

I would like to see the limit removed all together. You shouldn't have more land than you are capable of defending.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

In other words, you shouldn't have a lot of land at all. Because even the biggest guilds on LC can't defend 15 attacks at once, unless it was literally just noobs and fake bids.

Something I know isn't possible as the game system will not allow it anyway, is 1 faction owning every single territory on the map (which is what the game system will not allow), and all of them being attacked all at the same time within 3 minutes of each other like normal. Lets see 300 people defend the entire map at once.Main characters

Zoe.. from what I understand in one of the MY servers.. the entire map is owned by a single faction.. I have not checked it out myself but multiple people have said so on these forums
If that faction has 200 players and lets say 150 show for TW with the current limit they can still field 50 players per TW for 3 defenses at once and because everyone loves being with a winner it would be my guess that those 150 people would be some of the highest levels in the game .. so it would not be impossible to defend the entire map every week.. it would just take a lot of active players who show for TW friday saturday and sunday
however if you up the limit to 5 .. 150 split 5 ways would be 30.. a lot easier to overcome if the attacking faction has 60 - 80 attackers even of lower levels
The entire point of my suggestion is that it is possible to defend the entire map with this limit .. a guild is given a max of 3 defenses at one time period.. so they would never have to defend the entire map at the same time.. at most 3 territories0 -
Well I read here that one faction cannot own more than 1 level 1 territory, making it impossible to hold the entire map.Main characters

thats beyond the point .. even if they can only hold one level 1 they can surround the level 1 making it impossible for other people to attack it .. in which they still control the entire map they just don't get the payout from the second level 10

Three attacks at the SAME time seems like it is enough pressure on any one guild, it's really the top levels of 3 guilds versus the whole of the defending guild. If this much is not enough to take one guild, then clearly that guild deserves to hold those lands, and for saying MORE attacks are what you need at any one time then you're asking the guild to, somehow, defend the entire server at once, it's unrealistic. That would just be unfair for the defending guild, unless you also ask they "increase" the member limit. It's hard on the small guilds, but that's the difficulty of OWNING land.
About the guild on MY, Oracle server, Warlord owns the entire map by now if I'm correct, however, fake bidding is allowed on MY, so that helps them a fair amount. Spent a while there, but I don't log there anymore, so those are the news I get.As only the child that I was, I tread with giants.

Three attacks at one time is enough with balanced guilds .. because if each attacker fields 80 players and the defender can put a max of around 65 into each territory .. however I don't see many guilds atleast on sanctuary that can field enough of a decent level attack force to compete ...
Now I'm not saying there aren't.. I don't know much about every guild in sanctuary.. but from what I've seen it doesn't seem like there are to me .. now maybe it will just take time to even out .. but I just don't wanna see something like one guild owning the entire map0 -
If the server is in need of a new power, guilds will disband and merge in an attempt to balance the scale. If that doesn't work... well, not sure it works that way, unless you can fake-bid your way out of a 3-way war with the high levels that just can't fit into that one top guild. If the server just doesn't have enough people, well... that does suck, and that CAN pretty much put the TW to an end.As only the child that I was, I tread with giants.

this system works fine.... even with the 3 attacks at the same time restrictions, you can still have 6-9 tws a day.Less QQ more Pew Pewb:thanks

The server you're talking about is Oracle. WarLord owns almost every territory apart from the 2 lvl 4 ones. The exceptions are ReBorn (a guild allied with them) having 4 territories and a guild fighting them with one territory. The rest of it is a sea of red. The limit for max TW's is removed automatically once a guild owns 21 lands at once i believe (its either 21 or 23 lol). The reason the map looks like that is because WarLord rules it with an iron fist. Guilds that attack them would quickly end up on their KoS list. Not to mention half the guilds on the server a single party of WarLord can kill =x. They all have incredible gears and stuff which makes that kind of control possible.Previous Character: Tres_Iqus 95 MG
