Which Beast Are You?

Mostly curious as to what everyone chose.

If you're high level, and wouldn't mind physically posting your level and which beast you chose I would be highly appreciative. There are a ton of wolves in the starting zones, but I wonder if this thins out the higher the levels get.

Also, just curious if anyone has noticed a pickiness in groups, about who they let tank based on which beast they chose to look like. I know that sounds odd, but from my experience in playing some of the EQ games there was a sort of concensus about playing with certain race class combos that had nothing to do with the attributes of the race and everything to do with the kind of person who decided they liked the way that combo looked. For instance I knew people who would only play with Troll Warriors, or never with Dark Elf Enchanters etc. Is there anything like that in this game?

    There's wolfies galore all over the place basically. They're easily the most popular, followed by pandas, then tigers, then those fugly-as-sin green hairy dudes.

    As for preferences for certain appearances, maybe there's someone out there who believes in it.. but I can't imagine anyone choosing appearance over skill.
    Everyone here is ridiculously oversensitive.

    my kids would love to play the lion, but all of us are so put off by that red crumpled red mane, and the baby poo yellow/green coat...*bleah*

    its so unfair that the velos have the higest level of customaisation but barbs have next to none, other than altering slightly the head and body size.

    Fully with you on the barb customization thing. Especially the lion, if it's going to be a lion, at least make it the color of an actual lion.

    As for the number of different things there are, I don't know about everywhere, but on Sanctuary the majority of higher level barbarians that I see are tigers. wolves would be second.

    Tiger. Wolves look weird, pandas look too soft, and lions are freakin ugly.

    Wonder why the barbarian lion looks positively fugly, when the lion mobs in game get to look so cool.

    Tiger, simply because I turn into one and it bothered me <_<

    Otherwise, I definitely would have gone with Panda. :P

    im a tiger, wolf is ok too i guess, but the fact that you turn in a tiger anyway made me pick that.

    Wolf barb b:pleased Also, i agree on the whole sucky customization for barbs. Definetaly feels weird being a wolf humanoid then turning into a white tiger b:shocked Almost whent with tiger, so at least it could make a bit of sence, but i love wolves to much b:laugh

    Wolves have always been my favorite animals, so i chose a wolf lol

    however when i made this char, he did start out as a tiger. got bored of it lol

    I definitely see more Tigers than Wolves, especially in the higer levels. But I'm personally a Wolf.

    I couldn't decide between tiger or wolf and if i did make a wolf i wanted him to look sort of like the picture of the wolf at the top of the forum screen (the one with his mouth open and red shoulder armor) but at the create character screen the wolf to me looked more like a domesticated dog b:chuckle and not what i thought of a wolf. So i chose tiger and I'm glad i did. RAWR b:pleased

    Also the fact that you turn into a tiger made me feel weird if my char was a wolf

    Im a very rare lion. I like to be different.b:victory Also, I like the way they look in higher lvl armor, but it doesn't matter too much cuz Im always in tiger form. ^^ But I wish I could turn into a lion instead of a tiger. Oh well, tiger is cool too. b:pleased

    I chose tiger only for the fact that you have "Tiger Form". It simply doesn't make enough sense for me to play a panda that turns into a tiger.

    So, I chose tiger.
