Just a question for Sanctuary and Heavens Tear users.

Why do people keep making KOS threats on PvE servers?

Does that make any sense?

I dont get it. Maybe Im the only one but I just dont get it...

    Maybe in their heads they reeeaaalllyyy mean is if looks could kill, they would make you look at them and hopefully you would die from fright.

    Because many people on PvE servers are in PvP (white-red name) mode. Stop pretending there's no PvP on PvE servers.

    There's PvP on PvE servers.. except it only ever happens between two willing participants who are completely aware that it's gonna happen.

    There's PvP on PvE servers the same way there's fatalities in suicide cults.
    Everyone here is ridiculously oversensitive.

    You wouldn't think it from some of the complaining people do when they get pk'd though.

    As long as you remain blue named, no one can do anything about it 'cept maybe lure a AOE spell casting boss to you.

    Again you sound like you're referring to duels. People can turn on PK mode in PvE servers. once they do they're stuck that way for at least 10 hours, more if they've killed people in that time. There are alot of time's people get PKed while doing completely different things, and get pissed about it. (Of course i do share the oppinion that if you're going to chose to go into PK mode, don't get annoyed when you get PKed randomly).

    That's been deemed as MPK, using monsters to circumvent the normal player killing rules. A GM explicitely stated on these forums not long ago that is a bannable offense. Of course then there's the matter of proof of it being intentional. However if you do that intentionally and admit it or it can be proven, you're gone.

    Have yet to see this enforced, despite the same people kiting in the same bosses repeatedly. It seems to be a new hobby of bored wannabe pk'rs on pve server and is happening more and more. If this is a bannable offense, its overlooked by the GM's, as it was today when someone in our faction complained after dying for the 4th time from the same boss while trying to recover. =\ (*shrug* don't ask me...) GM stated they were out of luck and there wasn't anything they could do about it.
    Moral of this story- have your fly action hotkeyed and dont go afk where bosses can be lured into town because the so-called "pk pros" on sanctuary are too scared to go on a pvp server where they would undoubtedly get their behinds kicked.
    Funny or no, imo, it should indeed be a bannable offense as it defeats the purpose of going to a pve server by choice when its not safe to go into a safezone.
