OK I when I was at the Aerogear Forge in Thousand Streams I noticed that you can upgrade your wings purchased from the Boutique. I have the Blood Mist Wings and saw that there were four upgradeable sections for the Blood Mist. One section listed as you need 20 Wind Widgets to upgrade but another you need 80 to upgrade.

So in total Blood Mist has four sections and I want to upgrade my Blood Mist with the 80 Wind Widgets. Do I need to go in order from 20 to 80 to get the 80 Wind Widget upgrade or can I just upgrade once with 80 Wind Widgets?

    I believe that those four different bloodmist recipes each start from a different bloodmist (I believe that they have different "before" speeds, and not just different "after" speeds).

    So... yes?

    Yes, each upgrade does show a different base speed as the 'source' wings. You need the following for the full upgrade;

    +1.0 -> +1.5 = 20 widgets
    +1.5 -> +2.0 = 60 widgets
    +2.0 -> +2.5 = 80 widgets
    +2.5 -> +3.0 = 80 widgets
    +1.0 -> +3.0 = 240 widgets total
