Question concerning Rep Points ... help please...

I have a level 30 wizard with around 230 rep points, I'm unable to get most available skills for it at this level of rep, and I've been trying to go back to do any quests I might have missed.
My question is, if I went back and found every missed quest will my rep be the same as if I had done the quests at a lower level. It kind of seems like if you missed some quests and your level gets too high your rep points are totally messed up.
How much rep should a player have at level 30?

Skills aren't determined by reputation points. Unlocking higher-level skills involves completing Spiritual Cultivation quests.
You can make up reputation points by completing FBs with another player with a tab. You might also consider taking the Solo Job quests.0 -
On average, if you do every quest, you will have somewhere around 300 or so rep at level 30.Main characters
Celestial Sage Venomancer Zoe - 100
Sage Barbarian Malego - 910 -
I think you mean at level 30 you need 300 reputation to get the armor and other equipment.
That is why the solo quests are a good idea to do because you get reputation from them. If you are smart you can do solo missions at the same time you are doing normal quests. I get a handfull of quests in my quest log then go to the guard and see which quests matches up with what I have to kill.0 -
To get your rep up, I heard a good way is to grind dungeons. The mobs inside are elite one's and give more rep, and little exp. Same would go for the world bosses. I don't know if all this is true, but you can alway try to grind in the fb19's and look if your rep goes up.0

Thats not true at all. Monsters dont give you rep, they however can drop darkness stamps in fb's that do give rep. Also wraith soldiers dog tags can drop on higher dungeons.
You never get rep for just killing monster, you must be confusing spirit with reputation. You get exp and spirit for killing a monster.
Only reputation comes from doing a quest designed for only rep like solo job/one man army and then regular quests too of course give rep. At higher lvl there's punishment and justice quests that give rep+exp. And lastly there's darkness stamps from fb monsters as drops, or dog tags from wraith invasion monster drops. You can also make wanted scrolls out of crusade orders, these quests at lvl70+ give 3 rep each and nice exp. Maybe 1-2 rep from lower lvl wanted scrolls.
Add more if i forgot some rep method.
World bosses just like monsters dont give rep. Only the quest that is linked to them will give it,if any.
Also using tab in FB and killing the boss gives you some rep, but only if you have tab.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Reputation is given by quests not by mobs. The quests well do ask you to kill mobs. The FB mobs do not give any rep. Rep is given for killing FB bosses but ONLY if your party leader had the tabs. The tabs give all party members a quest to kill bosses and that gives the rep. Killing FB bosses without a tab will not give any rep. Grinding FBs (without any tab holders) is never a good idea, coz the mobs are tougher to kill, hit harder and give less exp & spirit than normal mobs. Same applies to most mini-bosses outside. This is probably done to prevent the higher levels from 'farming' Fbs and bosses.
Reputation is not required to learn skills. They require a cultivation lvl which you advance by doing culti quests (ones listed in orange in quest log). Reputation really is required for rank and rank armors, and I'm told certain quests become available only if you have a certain amount of rep (not sure of the last one).
Rep given by a quest does not vary with level. However after a certain level you may not be able to hand in the quest to collect rewards (I believe you get an error message and end up having to trash the quest). This (I hope) does not apply to culti quests.
And lastly WHY HAVEN'T YOU DONE THE QUESTS? b:chuckle
Upto level 40ish you can level purely by doing quests. Grinding is only required after the mid 40s (and increases with each level). You have missed out on some easy leveling. Do every quest you get, and treasure them, coz later on you'll be wishing there were more quests. b:laugh b:byeWhen the going gets tough; Get a tank!

I began playing during the Xmas event, and so I leveled some by killing snowmen, but not until I was around level 20.
I also started a couple of new characters to rise one from 1 to 10 without snowmen, and another from 1 to 10 with snowmen and then do all the level 1 to 10 quests. It seemed like the second method resulted in only about 20% of the first's rep points.
I recently started a new mage and have it to level 21 and being 9 levels it is quickly catching up in rep points to my level 30 which has done the majority of the level 20 to 30 quests. All my manufacturing skills are caught up on my first but not at all on the second, so I'm using the first for manufacturing.
I've printed out all the level 20 to 30 quests, and I can't keep up with them with my second, that is doing them in relative order and stacking when I can by the time I qualify for new quests for a level I should already be over it.
I think I still prefer playing my first mage over my second due to its name and appearance, but I fear it shall never have the rep points it should have. It does sound like I must have overlooked a cultivation quest somewhere on it cause I'm low on cultivation requirements.0 -

Check the quests list you have. Anything in orange gets the first priority. b:victoryWhen the going gets tough; Get a tank!

Or pull one of the quest guides to check off the ones you've completed and go back and do the ones you have not.
Also, the solo mission/one man army like was said earlier... no exp, but a celestone fragment and Rep are good enough, especially if you do it along with other quests. Simply by doing the solo missions you can build your rep up to where it should be... and at level 30, you can do the solo missions around dreaming stronghold and kill 30 lvl 16/17 monsters very easily and quickly to get that rep.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
