Question Bout Pure Build

i have rolled a wiz and want to go pure i found barb very boring.....so i read a pure build for wiz....it said every two lvls put 9:magic 1:str
Is that what i do all the time or do i need to put some points elsewere at a certain lvl?

    nope. thats it. all mag, except for 1 str every 2 lvls

    ok thatnks umm one more question.....do i have to buy a magic weapon...it kinda seems a waste of money since:

    1)I will never use it because the mob wont get that close to me.
    2)dosent do alot of damage anyway.

    i just think that a mage using weps is a waste of money am i right?

    No, you are WAY wrong there. sure, you dont go and hit em with it, but the magic damage from the weapon will make you hit a HELL of a lot harder... base magic attack wont get you very far at all, get yourself a magic weapon your level, then fight the same mob twice, 1 with and 1 without your weapon and ull see what im talking about

    ok good....ummm i want to make my armour weps and jewlery....but like it takes to long to gather all the mats.....and ppl sell for OUTRAGEUS prices...is there a special mining/farming place or do i have to just search?
