Okay recently i had a disk error (cyclic redundancy error) on my computer, that was in my buildings.pck file. I ran Norton disk doctor, which fixed the disk error, but the file itself had to be trashed. I then ran PW, of course expecting it to need to run the Verifier on the files (missing a big file of course). Buildings.pck seemed to partially rebuild itself (about 150 megs out of 240 megs), but then the verifier seem to stumble and after several attempts, it always stops at the same point. So now i can launch the game, but many assorted buildings are flat grey walls (missing their textures). What i was hoping was that someone could post or in someway upload or host the complete current building.pck file (its within the elements sub folder of the game). Since i've seen GMs and mods mention you can just copy game files accross computers i'm going by the assumption that asking this isnt wrong, but if it is i apologize. Thanks for any assistance.

Well, it's a slightly large file, so that would probably explain why the patcher doesn't like pulling it. I've made an (unofficial) mirror of the file <no longer available>, but I don't think I can maintain the file for much longer than a day. Please post when you've downloaded it.

Thank you very much. I have the full file up and working now so you can pull down the file. I appreciate the effort.

All right. Thanks for telling me when you completed the download.

I would recommend getting a replacement hard drive sooner rather than later; that sort of error usually indicates something is going out of date in the hard drive controller. Getting a replacement while you can still easily copy over the existing file system is a lot nicer than the alternative.
