Macaw/parrot pet in PW??

ive seen pictured in the header of this site a macaw (a large type of parrot in real life), and i assume that there must be one in the game somewhere. is it perhaps something that exists only in the oriental versions? or is it something else, maybe a bird that gets transformed....? one thing i've noticed in PW is the scaricity of birds, though you hear them, and, in Wolf Totem Valley, see some sort of large, dark bird fly by now and then.

does anyone know or heard anything about the parrot? just curious, because it would be an interesting pet to have, considering the massive beak on the macaws and some cockatoos!

    According to ecatomb, you can get it as a baby pet...but unknown how to get it as far as I can tell. Probably from event or something...or PW Staff just being mean and holding all the goodies from us. b:surrender

    ohhhh, i would so love that! but even more, did you see the hamster?? that would be hysterical to have an attack hamster!b:laugh as if the snow hare isnt funny enough to watch taking down a huge mob, a hamster would have me ROFLing in seconds!! when is PW gonna stop being stingy and bring in all those cuties!

    i really dont see the point of the all class pets being useless for anything but decorative purposes. especially since it takes scads of very high level, powerful pets to make just one....what a waste! they ought to be good for something besides just being cute...

    Geez, with the way that the phoenixes cost now, 400USD, I'm fairly certain that it's gonna cost a ton if there's a baby one! And there are no phoenix mobs in the game, so what are they going to have us make it out of? 5 Blazing Phoenixes? haha, I hope not, that's 2,000 USDs right there.

    the purpose of all classpets is not only for decor, and for showing off ur rich dieties, but it also becomes a good destraction to pkers, so the pet gets targeted rather than you b:pleased
    If you like to PK lowbies in comparison to yourself, you are creating a fake infamy, one that any non fail character will find out easily...hope u have dolls, and keep your eyes open at all times, i like to drop in from above, or below depending on my mood...remember, your not the only one playing this game, and don't forget that just because you get ganked doesn't make them fail, it just means people don't like you b:victory

    There actually are phoenix monsters in the game. Check Land of the Burning Heart.

    i was in a squad the other day, with a cleric who had the hamster- so tiny you couldnt see it, but still adorable, a barb who had a baby turtle, and another barb who had a tiny crab. that one told me the crab was some kind of prize from the wedding quest.

    i would love the macaw, but only if it doesnt have the giant footprint the elyesium fowl has...i had one of those for my cleric, and hated how hard it was to have it out while she hunted. couldnt click on anything unless i turned the camera so that it was to one side of her, rather than my usual 'over her shoulder shots'. but i sure wish PWI would be fair and let us catch the phoenixes in Burning Heart. no fair at all....b:sad
