Suggestion for a new PVP server... based on PVP fame as presented/discussed here

I used to play a MPG called Supreme Destiny that had one of the best/funnest pvp systems ever even though the game was a complete grindfest.

They placed behind a players name the number of times they killed somoene and the number of times they were killed by someone else. This stat was then used to slightly multiply a player's game stats (the better your fame was or became the slightly more powerful you became, and the worse fame became the more a player would drop stuff when they died until they rose their fame back up, some in game and some real cash pay shop items allowed points to be set back to zero).

The number behind player names was in the form of #/#. 256/54 would indicate that you defeated 256 unique players and was defeated by 54. Unique players means that if you fought the same player over and over again, only the last outcome with them would ever be recorded. If I killed you my stat would rise from 0/0 to 1/0, and if we fought again and I won again my fame would still remain at 1/0 and yours at 0/1 but if I lost my 1/0 would switch over to 0/1 (my orginal win against you would be thrown away). To make matters even more fun, you could look up the names of those whom you have lost against, and can even highlight them on the map if they are on when you are. Its fun to seek vengence and reclaim points.

The Supreme Destiny system made it so you had to be a certain level before you could participate in the game system, and I'd highly suggest sticking with a level 30 requirement. Additionally, the system required that players had to be within a certain level of each other for fame to record.

I would love to see a similar type system put into place on a new PVP server.
