Perfect World Guide to Clothing Dye Pigments

(Note: If you read this and it helps you, please
post a comment with a quick reply. This guide took over 30 hours
of my time and a lot of money to make. so PLEASE, at least post
a quick thank you so I know my time was well spent, and that
you all appreciate what I have done. Thank you. b:thanks
Also Please have a look at my other guide. It helps people out with
crafting and shows them easy ways to gather materials effectively.
You can find the post Here. PerfectWorld Crafting and Gathering Guide.
This is a guide written to help people within the game of
perfect world have an enjoyable experience using the Dye
and Pigments in Perfect World.
The main thing I can say is that you CANNOT craft dye!
The pigments are gained from buying Hot color packs and
activating them by right clicking on them. You will get
either a random dye or a named pigment once you right
click the box.
This is a chart for people that wish to Buy Pigments off
other players or to buy hot packs and use the correct
dyes they get to make a set of clothing a color they like,
it can also be used to help match clothes you already
own to a colored pigment by looking at the color grid (The
3 dot color code).
The Dyes listed here are the ones you get from the DYE
PIGMENT BOTTLES. The random colors you get on clothing
when you first buy them, or from using random dye pigments
are way too many. Plus this is a guide to players who wish
to plan out their outfit. Random dyes are too "Random" to
match since you get a random color and those colors are not
always available in bottle format. There are more colors for
clothing than just the ones you can buy with names on the
bottles. However to do that, its just click and hope. This
guide will help you get as close as you can to a random dye
color as possible with named dye bottles, but it will most
likely not be exact unless you use dye bottles on all the
clothing.
Anyhow This guide was made from different versions of the
game. Some of the clothing in the pictures are not from the
international version, but from the Malaysian version. I have
adapted all the names now for the international version of
Perfect World.
This guide is in IMAGE FORMAT. The links each show a picture.
Each image has screen shots of the various dye colors and the
pigment name along with the 3 dot color code.
Here are the 8 images you need.
I hope this guide has helped you. I enjoyed making it. Fashion is a passion of mine.

Hey wow. I use a set color fashion so I don't need this guide but this is exactly the thing everyone needs for their dyes. I don't see how you can get a better dye guide than this one. Very nice work!Main characters

I just noticed you're missing the red pigment. I can see Violet Red, but not Red. I'm sure it's ingame though.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

UPDATE
The Guide has just been enhanced. I used PNG images rather than JPG images to enhance Quality.
ALSO - All colors have now been added. Any that were missing are now there.
*NOTE* If you look at the auction house filters and see a dye that isnt listed here, please note. The names in the filter are Incorrect. If you hover over the name, you will see the real name show up in an icon window. So please do not ask about why Gold dye is not shown. Gold dye is Yellow if you hover over it.
Again. This took a LOT of work. Please let me know how much it is appreciated. Either in game or here in the forums. Thank you.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I noticed there is a green missing, I have a crystal love dress in an almost olive green, however I've tried to match it to all of the pigments you have listed but with no success, so if you could please let me know which pigment is missing please let me know0

Basically if it's bought new from the CS or if you use random pigment(s) on it, it comes out as one of those colors.
@Shyriena: Thanks a bunch for this, really. Though I would've suggested just using a Verdana Smock and saving money on pigments! x_x[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

not sure if right thread but here a question?
I seen people with nice clothes (so not gear) and i dont see them in the shop ? Like bikinis ?
(or didnt i look right or is it a crafted item ?)
I mean are there also ingame clothes besides the ones you buy with Zen from the official store ?"There's a big difference knowing the Path, and Walking the Path"0 -
Miugre - Heavens Tear wrote: »It's a random pigment, probably. Shyriena did not make up a list of random-dyed clothing... so here's one I was pointed to awhile back.

I added information in the guide to explain random dyes better.
Thanks for the link. (One day I may actualy go add them to the guide)
Veranda smocks will not dye fully like the miniskirt, It always has a
lot of white in it. Only the sides show the dyed color. Anyways
I wanted the guide to look cute.Morayine - Sanctuary wrote: »not sure if right thread but here a question?

Hmm not really the right thread but Ill anwswer the question. Clothing can be obtained through the boutique. The bikinis you see are obtained through a quest in Twilight Temple once you are 60+. I do not know of any clothing that is obtained through crafting or other quests, like chip trade in, etc.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Lovely guide. Though, I have a quick question. I'm somewhat new to the whole boutique clothing thing, and I've only tried random dyes so far. For the clothes I've used them on, they require multiple dyes, though... I was wondering, with the set-colored dyes (aka the bottles), can you do it with just one of that color, or do you need to acquire several like with the random dyes?
I tried looking at the descriptions of them in the boutique, and they're fairly... vague, for the most part. I just wanted to clarify, before going and buying all kinds of random dyes, if I could do it with just one of these set colors. :x I realize that I get a random color, for the set color, but... yeah. *Stops being confusing*
Any help'd be much appreciated. =P

guide really helped. thanks so much! b:thanks0
