Can't get on to perfect world

I just got a new comp recently, so i downloaded pwi onto it. However whenever i try to log on the screen has this weird color light show kind of thing go on. Once i do hit the start button from the character select screen my comp freezes up and shuts down. I don't no why this is happening, and i would hate to have to quit playing because of this problem. If anyone has any suggestions please tell me. Thanks a bunch in advance

    Ah, please don't use symbols other than alphanumerics, parentheses, quotation marks, commans, periods, and apostraphes (and don't copy the quotes or single quotes from Word). There post engine doesn't always like them.

    That sounds like a pretty cut-and-dry graphics driver issue. Updating said driver usually takes care of it. If you need help finding the right driver for your machine, can you provide us the following fields from a DXdiag :
    Display Tab - device box -
    Name:
    Chip Type:

    Display Tab - driver box -
    Version :

    To open a dxdiag :
    In Vista, type dxdiag in the Start menu search bar
    In other versions of Windows, type dxdiag in the Run command (Start > Run)
