Switching servers..

ok some of my friends have switched servers from sanctuary to lost city.
I am already a lvl 44 and i do not want to start fresh again. is there a way to transfer yur char over? i know you can on wow and if you cant i would like to know why

    That is not possible here the characters are saved on the individual servers which are all separated from each other.

    As to why I would imagine they didn't want to make it too easy for people ie start out on a PvE server then switch to PvP when they are higher lvl. Most Free to play games do not offer the service you are asking for so you will have to start again if you really want to play on another server.

    Hmmm well i guess i will stay on mine because i am not spending more money for the boutique all over again and leveling all the way up
