Ok, another robes vs LA question...

for PvE, would a LA build with robes take next to 0 damage (even after a few hits) in comparison to using LA, taking a few hits and lose 1000 hp?

*tries to better explain*...

a fire element mob, punching u, does that deal fire or phys damage?

should i always toat around some robes with me or will LA prevail over any element?

Physical blows are Physical.
Its mainly for Magical Attacks (assuming you are talking about the element shields, not counting Stone Barrier). Due to this, I can solo Krixxix at my level (actually I could from lvl37) with a cleric. Same rules apply, only that they can take more damage and last longer in a Close-Quarter Range with physical mobs.

They can also wear both Robes and LA, but Pure Builds do a bit more damage.
LA would likely not mean he takes almost no damage, unless you are comparing to other Wizard Builds.
This is purely based off the fact that we have 2 active/significant wizards in my Guild (the one I am in), me and another. I am the Pure Build, and he is the LA Build. Damage Given is significant, as well as damage taken.

... I'll let Pandora cover the rest (if and when she gets here).

what do you mean same rules apply?

from what pandora said its basically the same dmg in pvp and 10% less in pve (a light armor compared to robes)
