Clothing color displays different... um Why?

Well I finally got around to asking my bf to take a screenshot of how the cash shop clothing displays for him... and I found out that for some reason, on mine it displays the "dye" color instead of the straight texture like his does. O_o can someone explain to me WHY it is different on his from mine? And if there's a way I can change my system to display it the way his does? I fiddled with the settings and I have had no such luck with it. - .-

And as a side note... I've wasted god knows how much money and coin on dyes only to find out it doesn't display this way for everyone. I'm rather disappointed. o.o

Here's a screenshot... The way mine displays is on the left, his on the right. if anyone could explain to me how to change my display please let me know... or if anything, does it have to do with the graphics card?

    I'd recommend updating your graphics card drivers, if at all possible.
