What the heck is with this guy? He moves around, He charges you money to tell you nonsense... What is his worth? Are some of the rumors truth? I went to him once, took the quest, gave him the coins, he said something stupid and offered the same quest, I didn't take it. It seemed like a "how do you keep an idiot busy for hours" card that took coin every time you turned it over.

So am I way off base?

    keep payin him, he should tell u something useful (maybe), like he will say goto sucha blacksmith if u want to make +2 weapon, things like that. I havent tried the things he tells yet as the info he told me was to make something alot higher lvl than my manu skill.

    He's for a high level daily quest if i'm not mistaken. World quest or something, like crazy stone.

    I think anyways, it's been awhile.

    There is a higher lvl quest related to him.
    As for the rumors, they are more or less game advice/tips.
    The advice is most certainly useful since not very many guides detailing the game can be found...

    He gives you some useful advice such as press shift to select NPC through players, has a (small) chance to give you 10k coins, is required for a number of Dragon Quests, etc.

    For the most part you are often able to ignore him, it is true, unless you're doing a quest which needs him.
