Which is the strongest boss in this game

Guys, I am curious to know which is the strongest boss here excluding those in FBs. I have seen two big bosses so far. One is called Swordtamer and the second is Cenminator. Have they ever been defeated or there are stronger bosses than them. And of course...what do they drop. b:laugh

    Undisputably the River Cross Captain. It's lvl 100, elite, and has the "Immune to damage" trait. It's in the river at City of the Plume if you want to see for yourself.

    You mean that this ...turtle is stronger that that enormous boss cenminator whoose lvl I can't see. b:surprised

    So...has the cenminator or that turtle or the tamer been defeated so far and if "yes" what do they drop.

    That turtle can't be defeated, it's immune to damage. Which automatically makes it the strongest boss. Even if Pwdatabase puts his physical attack at 1 and magical attack at 5.

    Immune to phys dmg or magic dmg or....BOTH? What about the tamer and the cenminator? Ar they immune to dmg as well? b:surrender

    No, they can be hit. You know how some monsters get a trait sometimes, like increased life? Well, the turtle has Immune to damage there, which means it cannot take damage, no matter what you try. Physical, magical, poison, nothing will hurt it. It's the only monster ingame to have that, not counting the Sacred Beast for the lvl 7 Venomancer quest.

    The Harpy Wraith is the strongest boss in the game. You can find it wandering beside Camp of Intrepid.

    No, they can be hit. You know how some monsters get a trait sometimes, like increased life? Well, the turtle has Immune to damage there, which means it cannot take damage, no matter what you try. Physical, magical, poison, nothing will hurt it. It's the only monster ingame to have that, not counting the Sacred Beast for the lvl 7 Venomancer quest.

    I don't see a point to create a boss which cannot be killed. b:worried

    All those bosses were added in the recent expansion, something very few players have even explored. However, reading up at the Warsoul NPC in Archosaur, i found that you can create weapons which remove the special traits from bosses. Of course creating Warsoul weapons is an astronomical task. But i assume people weilding those weapons remove the "immune to damage" trait from that boss, thus making it killable. To a certain extent however all the new bosses from the new expansion should almost be removed from this discussion since noone has really engaged or explored the option of being capable to fight them yet.

    Every weapon ability (increased damage at cost of own HP, restoring hp, etc) is activated upon a succesful hit. If you cannot hit the monster, the effect won't activate either. Therefore, it is not possible to remove the Immune to damage, because it'd just resist that effect.
    Tbh, I'm pretty sure that boss isn't mean to be killed. It's probably the Sacred Beast concept: you get a quest for it, then you have to set up a trap and lure it in there. Problem is, no one has been able to find that quest. Likely because it's 100+.

    But does it attack? Is it aggressive? I mean, Kun Kun is a Lv100 elite, but it's a pushover. Is it that kind of thing (except for the immunity)?

    See, my beef with the new bosses is that PW dropped them right in peoples' leveling/questing zones. Cenminator? Hello? That's a lv40 zone at best. It's basically a "hey, here's a land mine, don't step on it you silly lv40s" button. -_-

    We could've at least gotten them on top of mountains or something where the only people who fight them have every intention of doing so.

    This effect isnt like Berserk or etc. Check out the warsoul NPC in the middle of archosaur perched way up high. These are the weapons meant to fight the new warsoul bosses. Merely weilding the weapon gives you the effect (but i think that effect only works on worsoul bosses). Its in the Help/Intro listings about crafting the weapons (not in the weapon effect descriptions themselves, like those berserk & etc effects).

    I'm pretty sure it's not a Warsoul boss, because it has a lvl. Warsoul bosses are lvl ?.
    Also, I just checked (on a lowlvl char), it is not aggressive, and it doesn't even counterattack when you attempt to hit it.
    Pretty sure it's just a quest mob.

    If it is a quest mob I don't consider it as a boss. When I say "boss" I mean mobs like Cenminator, Swordatamer etc.. And that's why I ask if they had been defeated so far? :)

    Yes. Some people on LC have been farming these bosses for their drops. I haven't done it, but some people in my guild have.

    what do you mean by a "warsoul boss"? i hope you arent mistaken on the warsoul concept that these lvl [?], ie 150 bosses drop the warsoul fragments.
    now you need to believe me when i say warsoul fragments are hard to get than just killing lvl 150 mobsb:laugh
    and looking at what is needed for the warsoul mold alone...im gonna keep the requirements for the warsoul weapon a secret b:victory
    killing the lvl [?] boss might be the easier part than making a warsoul weapon.
    these expansion bosses are used to get the drops for crafting higher lvl equips and they drop something called Chrono pages which is same as Apocalypse pages, except that these chrono pages are for lvl 100skills.

    as for the hardest boss, no one might know for sure, yet. might be harpy wraith or one of these new bosses, and altho all are lvl 150, they obviously have different types of attacks and debuffs. so maybe when someone has killed all the bosses you can ask him/her which one he found the hardest :D

    Harpy wraith, but don't worry. Apparently a low 8x werefox with hercules can tank the damage when it hits for more than the herc's hp.. korren

    Rebirth Order boss also has that, if you fail to protect the npcs.

    Actually not all are that strong as cenminator or sonic opressor.
    Soul hunter also has insanely high stats, but he does very low damage and will only massivelly debuff everyone on sight.
    He is being killed on a weekly basis at sanctuary.
    There are "mini" world bosses aswell, that can be killed by a small squad and dont hit hard, but still drop chrono pages at low % (snow bear near immolation camp is an example).

    these lvl [?] bosses also drops high lvl mats perfect shards (lvl 9 soul gem) which can be sold for quite a high price. My guild does these boss run weekly just for a bit of fun and see how much of a puch these guys pack, some are easy to kill like shadow doll and the one near dreamweaver while other are hard such as sword tamer. All these lvl [?] bosses are killable but just requires time,careful planning and enough high levels who can withstand there attacks and aoe

    To answer the question of the poster, the hardest boss in the game probably is the river turtle near the Plume City. The hardest boss in the game COMPARED TO HIS LVL must be Krimson. The monster is much harder than his lvl shows.

    I hear they're pretty epic bosses, but maybe that's just me XD

    i assume everything in the game like that was put in for a purpose....but what possibly be the reason for putting in the turtle by plume? it cant be fought-you can hammer on it till kingdom come with whatever you want, and it doesnt even notice you. so why is it there?...weird.

    but i would say the short answer to "who is the strongest boss" for most of us would be "-fill in the name of whoever last smeared you on the floor-"!b:laugh
