what happens when you refine something?

    Either you get +1 (or higher if you refine more) on your weapon, increasing various statistics, and even adding some, or you fail.
    Added statistics are usually things like +HP.

    Some examples:
    Magic rings add magic defence
    Physical attack rings and physical defence
    Armor (Chest, arms, legs, boots and helmets) and Hit Points
    Weapons add attack value

    The amount it adds depends on the level of your equipment, the higher the level the higher the bonus.
