I was wondering.. the only way to get a piece of armor to be purple is by crafting it? Thanks.

    By purple do you mean 3*?

    You can find 3* items as random rare drops, as quest rewards, or buying from other people, in addition to crafting your own items which has a chance of giving 3*.
