I keep getting some quite expensive stuff (when I sell them to NPC) which should be useful (this is written in the information about them) in the dragon quest (lvl 20 and 31 so far). At lvl 20 I didn't get any such quest...only one quest, connected to the dragon topic, but I wasn't requested to have things like antenna, rhyno horn and etc. My question is: when should I use those items and how many of them do I need... Should I keep those items or sell them to players or NPC.
Thank u in advance.
My people, some of them have run away to the hills
and have no shelter. No food, no one knows where they are,
hear me my chiefs, I am tired. My heart is sick and sad,
I will fight no more....

If you complete a DQ, you get the following
-Some exp, SP and money as a general quest reward. This could have been made by grinding, and it would've been easier too.
-A Dragon order, used (if you have LOTS) to buy rare items from the Dragon Herald. You can buy these orders from other players and still have money left if you just sell the DQ items.

It's up to your preferences if DQ's are worth it. If you like grinding then just go grind away.
If you don't like grinding so much then DQ's give you XP for less active playtime assuming you have the items, or can afford to buy them. It's just visiting a few people, throwing money at them, and getting XP. Kinda like crazy stone except a lot more expensive.
You can NPC them for a fair bit, or if you have patience, you can set up a stall and sell them to other players for a bit more.
